Geeks are nothing if not creative, and there are plenty of classic Star Wars DIY projects out there for every level of crafter.  Some of these really knocked our socks off here at Retro Planet.

Hookers and knitters have a wealth of options open to them.  From baby lightsabers and Yoda hats, to adult-sized Boba Fett crocheted hats, you can whip up Star Wars fashion in a snap.

If wearables aren’t your speed, try some Star Wars amigurumi and decorate your cubicle with a crocheted AT-AT Imperial Walker or an Ewok.

For a change of pace, give the quick and easy Darth Vader pillowcase a go and rest your head on the dark side of the Force.

See how to make these pillowcases using a freezer stencil method at All For the Boys.

Or, if you’d prefer to inspire creativity in others, pick up a set of the R2-D2 crayons and introduce your kids to some classic geekery.  I suggest a movie marathon and lots of blank pages.

Star Wars meets steampunk!  Check out this truly amazing piece of upcycled art:  a Darth Vader mask made from a variety of tech components, including copper plates, typewriter keys, and spur gears.
