Vintage Art Deco Ticket Taker
This is a restored movie theater ticket-shredding machine from the 1930s. It would have been placed inside the lobby, at the entrance to the theater. After the ushers collected tickets from the theater patrons, the tickets were placed into the machine. The wheel was turned, shredding the tickets so they couldn’t be reused. This machine has been restored with art deco lettering and graphics.
This item is not for sale. We show restored items in our museum for viewing, information and to further the hobby of collecting and restoration. We also just want to share the photos of the many items we have restored over the years.
