Clix Camera Retro Image

The retro image for this week is a Bakelite viewfinder camera and its original cardboard box. This Clix De Luxe camera was manufactured in 1950 by Metropolitan Industries of Chicago, Illinois. It was a small point-and-click camera that came without a flash. It was inexpensive and miniature in size, making it a fun little camera. The art deco style lettering on the lens is great, as well as the box that has also survived.

Dimensions: 5”L x 2 ¼”W x 2 ½”H
