A Customer’s Shopping Experience

We have a story we would like to share with you about a grandmother shopping for her granddaughter. We found this story so touching ourselves, that we thought you may enjoy it too.

A few weeks ago, we were contacted by a customer that had placed an order through our Amazon store. She was hoping we could expedite her order of one Doggy Pal for her 3-year-old granddaughter who had lost a toy dog just like it. With her permission, we are able to share her story with you:

“Thank-you, she will just love it when it arrives. Her name is Keara, and for months she would tell her mother about a little dog, named “Meadow”.  Her mother still has not figured out how she came up with that name.  All she talked about was this little dog that barks. Her mom thought she just had an imaginary dog. But one day she came to my house and found, in the bottom of a toy box I keep for her and her sister, the little dog that barks and walks. She was so excited and yelled out,  “Meadow”! Her mom and I just looked at each other and said, “So that is Meadow.” She took the dog home and since then, she has been taking care of Meadow.  She tells her mom things like, “We have to get home and let Meadow out so he doesn’t poop on the floor”, or “Meadow has to go to the doctor and get a shot”. She imagines the little dog doing all kinds of things when she is not home and at home she just takes care of the dog like it is real. She told her father the other night that he was in the car and he had to go out and get him. But sadly, Meadow is not in the car. Yesterday I spoke with her and she says she found Meadow, but her mom says she still cannot find him, so she is imagining him again. So I know she will be very happy when this new dog shows up. We told her Meadow was hiding at first because that is what puppies do, but now she thinks he’s at the doctor’s again. Thank-you again, for having “Meadows” available for me to purchase. The first one came from Cape May, NJ when we were on vacation about 4 or 5 years ago.”

We love to hear stories such as this one. We’re thrilled we could make a difference in a little girl’s life and to hear that people enjoy our products. Please share your own story if you have one that you’d like to post.
