Painted Mason Jars

Krista Janos shows us how to easily transform clear jars into colorful decor!

If you have a handful of old mason jars – or even jelly jars (anything glass will work) – here’s an easy project that will add a great splash of color to any room. Krista at Blue Eyed Yonder explains the simple and inexpensive process.

Don’t have vintage jars? Standard mason jars haven’t changed much over the years, so hop over to the local hardware store and pick up a case.

We love this project because the jars remain functional. You can still use them for storage or to hold accents, like branches or flowers. You can paint several and line them on a shelf, or use one as a centerpiece on the dining room table.

Plan to make these? We’d love to see your pictures!
