Scribbled Salt & Pepper Shakers

Ashlee at ‘My So Called Crafty Life’ shows us how to create scribbled salt and pepper shakers and drinking glasses.

From My So Called Crafty Life comes another “so simple, it’s brilliant” retro DIY that’s quick, easy and inexpensive. Ashlee shares the details for this project, inspired by some Hazel Atlas pink spaghetti glasses she’d found at a thrift store.

Using little more than rubbing alcohol and paint, you can transform dollar store or thrift finds on the fly. I say don’t be afraid to use several colors, either by “scribbling” several drinking glasses with their own color, or mixing the colors in the design itself.

Plan to make any of these? I’d love to see how yours turn out.
