Pom-Pom Turkeys

Pom-Pom Turkeys

Why buy expensive centerpieces and place holders when you can make them with minimal supplies and effort? A spin on the construction paper “hand” turkeys we made as kids, here are a few adorable and easy to make crafts that will spruce up the table this Thanksgiving.

Pom-Pom Turkeys: This craft uses pom-poms, felt, and pipe cleaners to create adorable table accents. Of course, you can enlarge the design at the all*you site to make a full centerpiece.

Felt “Hand” Turkeys: This design calls for felt and tissue paper. You’ll find the print-out template at all*you.

What a Turkey Craft

Classic Pine Cone Turkeys: This one is great for the kids. Just grab a pine cone and some construction paper. [By the way, pine cones aren’t that cheap, so if you have some in your yard, here’s how to clean and prepare them to avoid the yuckiness (like bugs and such).]

Yarn Ball “I’m Thankful For…” Turkey: Another great project for the kids. The turkey’s features are made from construction paper with messages of what family members (or friends) are thankful for. Find the instructions at Parents.

Flower Turkeys: Using fake flowers and pom-poms, you can create an elegant place card or centerpiece. Find the details at Our Best Bites.
