Glascock Junior Coca-Cola Cooler

Retro Staff |  Comments

This cooler was produced by Glascock Bros. Manufacturing in the 1930s. It has a 36-bottle capacity and bottom storage for either two cases of additional bottles of Coke or for empties. It was a smaller version of the standard Glascock cooler, and was intended for locations with limited floor space. The bottles and ice were placed together into the cooler to keep the soft drinks cold. The stand with casters was standard equipment. The sides of the cooler had panels that could be removed and replaced.

The early 1930s junior model stood 30″ high. It was 17.5″ wide and 17.5″ deep – ideal for outlets with limited floor space.
