Coca-Cola Slogan Art - Delicious and Refreshing

Coca-Cola Slogan Art: Delicious and Refreshing (1904)

Since 1886, Coca-Cola has issued more than 45 official slogans. That’s an average of one for every 2.5 years.

Slogans were used not only to describe the carbonated beverage, but were reflective of trends during the time they were used.

How many of these do you recall?

1886: Drink Coca-Cola (To let people know Coca-Cola was a drink, not a medicine.)

1904: Delicious and Refreshing

1905: Coca-Cola Revives and Sustains (Originally, Coca-Cola was created to as a drink to improve health and provide endurance.)

1906: The Great National Temperance Beverage (A response to anti-alcohol laws.)

1908: Good Til the Last Drop (If you recognize this…you’re right. This was later used as the slogan for Maxwell House Coffee.)

1917: Three Million a Day (A phenomenal achievement over the 9 glasses a day average in 1886.)

1922: Thirst Knows No Season (A campaign to tell people Coca-Cola is a great drink choice in the winter, too.)

Coca-Cola slogans are useful when attempting to date collectibles, such as clocks, tin signs and advertising.

So, how many of these did you know?
