Pepsi Progress A1 Double Dot Cooler

Retro Staff |  Comments

Pepsi Progress A1 CoolerIt is difficult to find this cooler today. It was manufactured in the late 1940s, which can be determined by the design of the Pepsi-Cola logo. Prior to 1951, two dots separated the words “Pepsi” and “Cola”. This logo is referred to by collectors as the “double-dot”. After 1951, a single dot was used.

This model has a single lid handle, in addition to a large handle to carry the cooler. This cooler, like many others from the 1940s, was painted gray. This is believed to have been for use on US Navy ships during the war.

Sorry, this item is not for sale. We show restored items in our museum for viewing, information and to further the hobby of collecting and restoration. We also just want to share the photos of the many items we have restored over the years.
