Awesome Star Wars DIY & Crafts
Geeks are nothing if not creative, and there are plenty of classic Star Wars DIY projects out there for every level of crafter. Some of these really knocked our socks off here at Retro Planet.
Hookers and knitters have a wealth of options open to them. From baby lightsabers and Yoda hats, to adult-sized Boba Fett crocheted hats, you can whip up Star Wars fashion in a snap.
If wearables aren’t your speed, try some Star Wars amigurumi and decorate your cubicle with a crocheted AT-AT Imperial Walker or an Ewok.
For a change of pace, give the quick and easy Darth Vader pillowcase a go and rest your head on the dark side of the Force.
Or, if you’d prefer to inspire creativity in others, pick up a set of the R2-D2 crayons and introduce your kids to some classic geekery. I suggest a movie marathon and lots of blank pages.
Star Wars meets steampunk! Check out this truly amazing piece of upcycled art: a Darth Vader mask made from a variety of tech components, including copper plates, typewriter keys, and spur gears.
Note the circuit boards in the face and neck!
A cool homage to Vader’s machine half, something geeks everywhere can appreciate!
If you yearn to show off any of these one-of-a-kind pieces in a tremendous Star Wars environment, be sure to check out the 70″ high Darth Vader reusable wall decal. There are also ones for Yoda, C-3PO, Luke Skywalker and R2D2.
We found plenty of other cool things across the web, too, including baked goods, clothing, makeup techniques, felt dolls and printable masks. Never underestimate true Star Wars fans and their desire to share the DIY love. You’ll find plenty more Star Wars unique projects at Pinterest listed under Star Wars DIY and Star Wars Crafts.
May the Force be with you!
