Vintage Sylvania Blue Dot Flashbulbs

Here at we are surrounded by all things retro. Not only the things we sell but original items and collections that decorate our offices. We thought it might be interesting each week to bring you a photo and information of an interesting, and maybe unusual, retro item we have kicking around. Please note these items are not for sale.

This is a package of camera flashbulbs from the mid- to late-1960s. They are Sylvania AG1B Blue Dot flashbulbs. They were single use bulbs, back from the days when cameras did not come equipped with built-in flash technology. After a quick look on the Internet, it’s amazing to see how many packages of vintage camera flashbulbs have survived and are still being used by people today.
