January 2, 1963 – The Beatles embark to Scotland for their first concert tour.

December 27, 1963 – The London “Times” music critic, Richard Buckle, described Lennon and McCartney as “the greatest composers since Beethoven.”

December 31, 1964 – “ I Feel Fine,” and “The Beatles’ Story” were certified gold in the US.

December 29, 1966 – Paul recorded the basic tracks of “Penny Lane” on his own at Abbey Road.

December 30, 1967 – “Hello Goodbye” climbed to the top of the US charts and stayed there for three weeks.
